Welcome to MelSlade.co.uk Melanie Slade and Theo Walcott.
Theo, 17, was later spotted with a massive bandage on his lower leg as he wandered around Baden-Baden with 17-year-old girlfriend Melanie Slade. A source in the England camp said last night: "Theo got a slight knock in morning training. It was strapped up for compression purposes. It was purely precautionary." Not that Theo looked too distressed as he strolled around with Melanie after lunch at a nearby restaurant. The players were finally allowed to see their wives and girlfriends yesterday after Sven lifted a ban on them meeting as they prepared for Saturday's clash. England's stars arrived at the Brenners Park hotel where they had a traditional Sunday dinner of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Steven Gerrard later went for a stroll with fiance Alex Curran and their new baby Lexie. Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney relaxed in the sun and Cheryl Tweedy looked overjoyed to be seeing her man Ashley Cole after their enforced absence. Source: Mirror
Thirst Wives ClubENGLAND’S soccer wives show they’ve got the bottle to go all the way — boozing all night long after the scrappy 1-0 win over Paraguay, one of UK’s leading tabloid reported yesterday.David Beckham’s men needed 70 litres of water during the game and the girls - led by Coleen McLoughlin (Wayne Rooney’s ladylove) and Steven Gerrard’s fiancee Alex Curran — seemed determined to match that in booze. The Thirst Wives Club sank seven bottles of Mo’t et Chandon champagne, 23 lemon or Red Bull vodkas, 12 glasses of lager, four Sambuccas, five orange liqueurs, a Bacardi & Coke and three packets of fags. And just to make sure they didn’t go overboard, the group — including Theo Walcott’s sweetheart Melanie Slade, 17, and Coleen’s mum Colette — threw in two bottles of water. But there was no shortage of high spirits. Frank Lampard’s Spanish fiancee Elen Rives, 28, showed she knew about being top of the table as she climbed on to one and held a glass aloft.
